Starting work at a new salon and you’re unfamiliar with their colour line? Too nervous to ask the stylist working next to you?
Yes I've seen many new stylists on their first day at a salon and although I've always been fortunate enough to work in a supportive environment, I know that some of you out there might be dealing with jealous coworkers throwing you some shade.
Forget that.
What you need to do is to read over the technical document from the colour line that your salon is using.
What is a technical document?
A technical document, sometimes also called a technical manual, is like the bible to a hair care company’s product line(s).
It usually includes information on mixing ratios for their colours and lighteners and/or descriptions of their professional styling products.
To make your life easier, we’ve included a list of links to the technical documents of major hair care companies so that you can access them with comfort and online. We have simply located them and consolidated them here in a convenient list for you.
Visit your colour company’s website! They usually have very helpful blogs, descriptions and tutorial videos of their colour lines as well as free and paid educational opportunities and hair shows that you can register for.
DISCLAIMER: Hair Stylist Guide did not upload these documents to the internet. We simply are consolidating them for you here in one convenient list.
